The Neon Vibe- Toronto

These pictures are to prove how much a hate red eye flights.  Having to take them almost every weekend feels like they take 5 years off my life, every time.  We are soooooo tired but somehow make these races happen smoothly with a smile on our face.  Although, they lead to some good pictures....
We had a difficult time getting into Canada, who wold have thought?  They were grumpy, mean people at the border and it was frustrating.  Long story short, just fly over instead of trying to drive over and get through the border control that way.  No bueno. After about 15 hours we finally got to Canada and took a quick stop at Niagara Falls.  What they say is true..... the view is way better on the Canada side.  The U.S. is missing a beautiful view!!
They had these huge flowers the size of my face that were beautiful!
The boys insisted on going to this Korean restaurant where you cook your own food right in front of you.  I didn't like the price, but it sure was delicious!
We got a good deal on the hotel and got a nice little suite!  So, Kate and I had a nice little foot soak to get ready for race day.
Worst part about the venue in Toronto-  pot holes.  They were awful.  So, Kate and I spent a good two hours filling in pot holes on the course with gravel.  It sucked, but safety first!
Random thoughts on Toronto:  People make fun of how Canadians talk....but it is so true!  They sound so funny.  They don't have dollar bills or pennies.  They have a coin for a dollar called "loonie" and a coin for two dollars called "toonies."  Everyone is Asian and they are obsessed with a restaurant called Tim Hortons
