I know everyone says they have the best mom, but mine is defiantly the best! I look to her and I see the greatest example. My mother has been through so many trials and hardships in life, and I have learned a lot as I watch to see how she deals with them and moves on in a positive way with her life. She is the strongest woman I know, she is my best friend and I am so grateful for her. I can talk to her about anything and she doesn't judge me, she helps me be a better person and has never tried to change who I am. I love you mom!
Also... Mothers Day this year came with a surprise, Steven got to SKYPE home!! Words cannot describe how wonderful it was to see him. We had 45 minutes to talk to him, so me and his family gathered around the computer and took turns talking. I still cannot believe we actually got to talk. He is doing AWESOME and is loving it in Portugal. I am so proud of him and am so grateful to have such a wonderful example in my life.
