So this year I had to make a big decision. I had to decide if I was going to continue to run this year. A lot of things have been on my mind. Practice was becoming something that really stressed me out, rather then something that I enjoyed and looked forward to. It was getting hard to balance school because practice was getting in the way of classes and labs that I needed to get done before I could apply for my teaching program. I also needed to start looking for a job. This was really hard because I have been competing since 5th Grade. I also didn't want to disappoint my parents. They have been my greatest support system and I didn't want to let them down. But they took it really well. They were just proud of my for giving it a try, and now I can say I have two years of Division 1 running under my belt. I went to see my coach the other day and he gave me two more plaques for Academic All Conference. It is nice to not have to walk away empty handed. I feel like I have accomplished so much being able to run Track and Cross Country at Utah State. I am grateful for Coach Reeder for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the team and compete. I miss it already, but I have had so much more time for school and work, which is what I really needed. I'm still running on my own and loving it!

Lucky!!I LOVE Cross Country!!! :) Good for you girl!
